2025 is just around the corner. Pinterest is full of images of super-organized drawers, colour-coded planners and all things neat & satisfying. Well, if you’re thinking of hitting refresh for the new year, you may as well make it pretty. That’s where ‘the organized aesthetic’ comes in.
Now I’m not an advocate of making things look pretty for pretty’s sake. Not in the context of home improvement.
So if colour-coding my necklace collection looks pretty but actually makes it harder for me to keep my jewelry tidy, it’s not a great system in my opinion.
Which is why I always like to search for solutions that help keep my home away from mess WHILE making it look nice.
If a storage solution or a system can solve both function & form for me – that’s my jam.
It needs to be ‘beautilitarian’, as my husband and I like to call it. Beautiful and functional.
That’s what, to me, is my organized aesthetic.
So in this article, I’m going to share some of my favourite organization ideas.
Organization Ideas that not only look pretty, but also can help make your life a bit more easy, a bit more stress free.
These ideas will help you find what works for you, so you can create your own organized aesthetic for 2025!
Arrange Your Bags with Dividers
Often our bags are stored in clusters, in a shelf that’s hard to access.
This is the mistake I used to make.
When I needed a certain bag, I’d have to pull everything out. Or I’d forget a certain purse even existed.
The key to purse organization is to keep everything visible.
My favourite method is to slot them side by side in a clear, slotted organizer so everything can be seen and easily pulled out.
Display Your Perfumes Like a Boutique
This one looks super pretty and is really practical too.
Tiered risers keeps all your perfumes visible and nicely displayed like a boutique.

File Fold Clothes for Uniformity and Ease
I can’t stop talking about this.
File folding your clothes keeps your closet tidy for good AND saves you space.
Just organize file-folded clothes in a slotted bin or a drawer. Pull one out and nothing else budges.
Get Slim Colour Coded Hangers
I’m not a huge fan of colour-coding but this method may be helpful to you.
You can organize different categories of clothes by colour – like bottoms, blazers, gym t-shirts etc. Looks super-cute.
These slim hangers actually save you space as well.
Get Clear Acrylic Drawer Organizers
Versatile and super-neat. Clear bins for drawers have never failed me.
Label Everything Uniformly
Looks super-cute. Feels super-satisyfying.
Plus, these minimal labels make everything look curated and thought-through.
Create a Wall Jewelry Display
Loved this DIY by Marina.
A rustic tree branch to hang all your necklaces on. Beautiful.

Put in A Sunglass Holder Wall In Place
Another super-creatove organization idea.
Just fix floating shelves to display your sunglasses and make getting dressed a breeze.
Organized Your Hair Tools into Bins
Hair tools can be bulky and messy.
Give them a designated home with separated baskets or bins. Or you could opt for an over-the-door hair tool organizer.
Separate Your Cords and Chargers into Clear Boxes
We have so many devices these days.
It’s a great idea to store and label the chargers and cords clearly and separately.
This cable organizer from Amazon is stackable too, so takes up less space.
Make Your Under Sink Area Neat as a Whistle
Use clear bins and pull out organizers to make your under-sink area more organized and free up space.

Dress Up Your Dresser
Use marble trays to create a pretty catch-all on top of your dresser.
Not only does this look casually curated, it actually helps keep things from getting messy.
Give Every Accessory A Pretty Home
Belt, hats, shoes – every little accessory can be stored effectively so that it’s easily visible and doesn’t come in the way of all your other stuff.
Give Your Desk A Makeover
Use a pretty bubble wrist rest, desktop mat and a vibrant keyboard to give your desk a whole new organized aesthetic.
Segregate Items in Your Bathroom Drawer
Create an Organized Tea Station
Use long clear bins to slot in your tea bags in your drawers.
Place trays to organize your mugs & accessories on the counter and create a pretty tea station.
Use Empty Candle Jars For Your Make Up
Repurpose your classy candle jars and use it as a holder for your make-up brushes and lipstick.
Fance-ayyyy.
DIY a Magnetic Make-up Board
Another super-cute DIY that’s a genious organization method.
A magnetic wall-mounted make-up board for your palettes, eyeshadows and brushes.
Here’s a step-by-step tutorial on how to make one.
